BJP Minority Morcha on Thursday announced to launch a state-wide campaign “Kalam Ko Salaam” to remember former president Dr A P J Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary on July 27 to disseminate his teachings and inspirational messages among the public.
As part of the initiative, a special commemorative event will also be held in Meerut.

According to BJP leaders, the campaign will feature several prominent figures, including former Union minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain. The primary objective of the campaign is to disseminate Dr Kalam’s inspirational messages and visionary ideals to the public.

Uttar Pradesh State President of the BJP Minority Morcha, Basit Ali, stated here on Thursday that all party workers have been directed to actively participate in the event commemorating Dr Kalam’s death anniversary. The central event in Uttar Pradesh will be held at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Auditorium of Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut.
Basit Ali further mentioned that along with Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, several senior leaders will attend the event, including BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State Danish Azad Ansari, BJP West UP Regional President Satyendra Sisodia, BJP Minority Morcha National Vice President Chaudhary Zakir Hussain, BJP UP State Minister Amit Valmiki, BJP Meerut District President Shiv Kumar Rana, and BJP Meerut City President Vivek Rastogi.
Mr Ali added that the Minority Morcha members will not only conduct this campaign in Uttar Pradesh but across the country, sharing Dr. Kalam’s inspirational thoughts with the people.
A preparatory meeting for the same will be held in Meerut on Friday.
