RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s CM face, Tejashwi Yadav, on Sunday asserted that Bihar voted for change in the first phase and will do the same on November 11, when the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 is held.
With campaigning for the second phase coming to an end today, Yadav said the environment is positive in favor of the Mahagathbandhan.

“The people of Bihar have voted for change, and they will do the same on 11th November,” he said.
He highlighted the achievements of the 17-month RJD-led government in Bihar, which had collapsed after Nitish Kumar ditched the Mahagathbandhan and joined the BJP-led NDA.
“Whether it is the Prime Minister or any other minister, no one is talking about the reservation we gave during our government for 17 months. The Prime Minister has eaten up the 65% reservation of the people. They should talk about what they gave to Bihar and Gujarat,” Tejashwi Yadav told reporters.
Meanwhile, Yadav’s party RJD has slammed the Election Commission of India, calling the institution a “thieves commission,” and questioned how VVPAT slips from first-phase polling ended up scattered on a road near KSR College in Samastipur’s Sarairanjan constituency.
“When, how, why, and on whose orders were these slips thrown away? Will the Thieves’ Commission answer this? Is all this happening on the instructions of the democracy’s dacoits who have set up camp in Bihar after coming from outside?” the party wrote on X.
The RJD also claimed that the CCTV camera remained off for half an hour in the strong room of Samastipur.
“The Election Commission and local administration, mired in corruption, are making useless excuses like power went out, battery went down, TV went into sleep mode, there was no generator… they didn’t make it! The credibility and integrity of you people is zero!” the party wrote on X.
