The Election Commission of India (ECI) has reported that 95.92 percent of electors in Bihar have been covered so far under the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.

With only six days left for submitting Enumeration Forms, the ECI stated on Saturday that it is operating in “mission mode” to ensure every eligible voter is included in the draft Electoral Roll, which is scheduled to be published on August 1.

The Commission highlighted that out of a total of 7,89,69,844 electors, 7,57,46,821 (95.92 percent) have been covered. Additionally, 7,15,82,007 forms (90.64 percent) have been received, of which 6,96,93,844 (88.25 percent) have been digitized.

The ECI further said that Booth Level Officers, volunteers, and Booth Level Agents appointed by political parties are working together to trace the remaining electors.

Special camps have also been organized in 5,683 wards across 261 Urban Local Bodies to facilitate urban voter enrollment.

The Commission informed that the Draft Electoral Roll will be published on August 1, while claims and objections can be submitted until August 30. The Final Electoral Roll is slated for publication on September 30.
