In a tragic incident that unfolded in Kota, Rajasthan, a student from West Bengal has taken his own life. With this, 28 suicides have been reported in the city this year, known widely as a prominent coaching center for competitive exams that attracts students from all corners of the country.
Forid, a young resident of West Bengal, had been residing in Kota’s Waqf Nagar area while diligently preparing for NEET, the nationwide entrance examination for medical education courses.
Police reported discovered Forid hanging in his room yesterday evening. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, medical professionals declared him brought dead.

Fellow students residing in the same rented accommodation as Forid recounted seeing him last at 4 pm. Concerned when he remained secluded in his room past 7 pm without responding to calls, they raised an alarm, prompting the landlord to contact the authorities.
