Five years since its inception, the Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Center (ESDC) Balapur, under the aegis of Project Sadbhavana, continues to transform lives by empowering women of Shopian and Pulwama districts in Jammu & Kashmir through comprehensive skill development initiatives.

Established in July 2020, the centre is financially supported by Toha Foundation, serving as a vital platform for women’s socio-economic upliftment. An Indian Army spokesperson stated that the centre offers a range of courses aimed at skill enhancement and self-reliance, including stitching and tailoring, food processing, knitting, computer and internet training, and driving.
