After the second phase, SP-Congress will be out of contention: Amit Shah
During a joint rally with RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary, the Union home minister claimed that Congress is out in the first phase of Lok Sabha polls itself.
BJP president Amit Shah has said Article 370 will be withdrawn from Jammu and Kashmir if the saffron party was voted to power again.
Addressing a public rally in Palamau district of Jharkhand on Saturday, Shah said, “We will remove Article 370 if you make Narendra Modi the prime minister again.”
Criticising the Congress-led UPA government, Shah said terror groups from Pakistan during its rule used to target the country on a continuous basis, adding that jawans would be beheaded by terrorists too.

“We cannot compromise with the security of the nation. Pakistan wants to separate Kashmir from India. We will not allow it,” he said
Shah also said, “Pakistan se goli aayegi to yahan se gola jayega (if a bullet comes here from Pakistan, a shell lands there).”
Launching an attack on National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, the BJP president sarcastically asked: “Should there be two prime ministers for one country?”
Referring to Abdullah’s past remarks suggesting separate prime minister for Kashmir, Shah said Kashmir was an inseparable part of India.
“The Bharatiya Janata Party has given the nation Modi as prime minister and the security of the country has been strengthened ever since,” he said.
Shah recalled, “When the nation rejoiced with sweets following the February 26 Balakot air strike, a pall of gloom descended on the Congress and Pakistan.”
He also ridiculed Congress leader Sam Pitroda’s pitch for dialogue after saying “some boys” had committed a “mistake” and dropped bombs.
