Arth Art International hosted an engaging artist talk titled “Journey with the Divine Flow” at Travancore Palace Gallery, bringing together art lovers, practitioners and cultural figures for an evening of reflection and dialogue.
The event centred on the ongoing solo exhibition by Jayant K, India’s Ambassador to Spain and Andorra, and featured a conversation with art curator and academic Jyoti A. Kathpalia.

Drawing from his long career in the Indian Foreign Service, Jayant K’s artistic practice reflects a life shaped by travel across cultures and geographies. A self-taught artist, his work is guided by instinct, memory and observation, resulting in a visual language that is both introspective and fluid.
In his works, nature emerges as a living presence rather than a backdrop, while elements of music and dance infuse the canvases with movement. Sacred imagery and mythological references further anchor the works in a spiritual framework, drawing from Indian traditions and their resonance beyond.
Speaking at the event, Jayant K described his work as a journey through these realms, where art becomes a means to explore the connection between the finite and the infinite. Jyoti A. Kathpalia noted that the conversation aimed to deepen audience engagement by unpacking the ideas and processes behind the works.
The exhibition, accompanied by such dialogue, offers viewers not just art to observe but an experience to reflect upon.
