Amit Shah to address Co-op Sammelan & Public Meeting in Jaipur on Thursday

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the city to attend a number of programmes on Thursday.

An official spokesman said Shah is scheduled to land at the Sanganer International Airport here around 11:30hrs to participate in the Cooperatives Sammelan and a Rozgar Mela.

The Minister is also scheduled to address a public meeting at Dadiya village on outskirts of the Pink City. Before flying back to Delhi, Shah is also expected to hold meeting and parleys with prominent ruling BJP leaders of the state to take feed back on the prevailing political situation and equations.

Meanwhile, hectic preparations were on in the state capital at the official and the BJP organisational level.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a high level meeting with state officials at the state secretariat here to review preparations for smooth conduction of the Home Minister’s scheduled programmes. Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant has presided over a similar review meeting Wednesday evening.

Cooperatives Secretary Manju Rajpal had visited venue of the sammelan/meeting at Dadiya village last evening.

The ruling BJP state president Madan Rathore accompanied by Rajasthan Cooperatives Minister Gautam Dak and other leaders also went Dadiya to take stock of the preparations at the programme site Thursday.

Rathore said “This is an official programme being held by the Cooperatives department. However, a large number of BJP Co-operative wing were expected to attend the meeting.

As per party claims more than 1 lakh party workers would turn up to listen BJP leader Shah.
