Claiming that many schemes were started for the development of Agra, Hathras, and Mathura during the Samajwadi rule but have been ruined under the BJP government, the SP president announced that the Samajwadi Party would have a separate manifesto for these three districts in the 2027 elections in which new development schemes will be announced.
Akhilesh Yadav was addressing a meeting of the officials of the Agra, Mathura, and Hathras districts here at the party’s state headquarters on Thursday.
He said the goal of the Samajwadi Party is to establish the rule of social justice. “With the caste census, all sections of the society will get rights and respect on the basis of their numbers. PDA Panchayats have awakened the society and people have also realized its power. The BJP is scared of the power of PDA and it is afraid of losing the elections,” he claimed.
Mr Yadav said there is a need to pay special attention to ensure that there is no discrepancy in the voter list. “Along with getting votes and casting them, it is also necessary to keep an eye on whether the votes of our people are not deleted. The BJP conspires to gain power by destroying the sanctity of democratic systems by manipulating the voter list and rigging the elections,” he alleged.
