MP CM disburses Rs 1,835 crore under Laadli Behna Scheme
The CM transferred the amount by a single click, at a grand Laadli Behna function held at village Mungwani in the Narsinghpur district of the state.
The CM also announced that modern wrestling mats would be installed at the akhada.

Watching and appreciating a bout of wrestling at an ‘akhada’ built inside a ‘gaushala’ in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav commented on Wednesday that such arenas would produce wrestlers like Lord Krishna and Balram.
The CM also announced that modern wrestling mats would be installed at the akhada.

The CM made the comments while addressing the Govardhan Pooja event at the Resham Kendra Gaushala established by Indore Municipal Corporation in Khajuriya, Hatod tehsil of Indore district.

The CM announced that ‘gaushalas’ in Madhya Pradesh will be developed into ‘Gau Mandirs’ through joint efforts between the society and the government, and all necessary facilities will be made available in these gaushalas, and full assistance will be provided for their development and self-reliance.
He announced that farmers practicing natural farming in the state will be encouraged and will receive an additional incentive amount apart from the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their naturally produced crops.
The Chief Minister further stated that the state government has decided to ensure organised management of gaushalas through urban local bodies. Stray cattle wandering in the open will not be confined in cages but will be safely sheltered and properly cared for in gaushalas.
Notably, CM Dr Mohan Yadav has been a wrestler himself. He is also the president of the ‘Madhya Pradesh Amateur Wrestling Association’.
