Deputy Collector arrested on charges of sexually exploiting woman in MP
A Deputy Collector in the Morena District of Madhya Pradesh has been arrested on charges of sexually exploiting a woman on the pretext of marriage.
A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the incident, they said.

Three labourers died while cleaning a chemical tank at a factory in Pithampur industrial area in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh due to suspected leak of a poisonous gas, police said on Monday.

According to the police, the incident took place Sunday night at the Sagar Shri Lubricant Oil factory.

“The victims were identified as Sushil (30), Deepak (35) and Jagdish (32). The bodies were sent to Indore’s Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital,” Additional Superintendent of Police Vijay Dawar said.
Sources pointed towards negligence of the factory management, and said that the workers were not provided any safety equipment or masks.
Superintendent of Police Manoj Singh sent a police team to the spot. Police said an investigation was underway.
