As many as 25 people were killed and 35 injured after a bus fell into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district earlier on Thursday, officials said.
The incident happened near Banjar area of Kullu district.
The bus carrying around 50 passengers was on its way from Banjar to Gadagushani area when the accident occurred.
The vehicle, on the roof which a few people were also sitting, fell about 500 feet, according an NDTV report.
Rescue operations are underway.
Earlier in April, ten people were killed and 25 injured when a private bus they were travelling in fell into a 200-foot-deep gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district
