Konkan Railway recruitment 2018: The Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has released recruitment notification for Trackman, Assistant Pointsman, and Khalasi posts. These posts are for candidates whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway Project.

There are 100 posts in total.

Candidates who fall in the age limit of 18 to 33 years as of 01.07.2018 can apply for the above posts by or before September 16, 2018.

Candidates who fulfil all the above eligibility conditions can apply through the official website for Konkan Railway Corporation Limited.

Three more languages have been added as the options for the question paper.  Earlier in the recruitment notification only two languages (Hindi and English) were available as an option for question paper. Now, three more languages– Marathi, Kannada, and Konkani have been added.

Selected candidates will be posted across Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

The candidate must have passed the class 10th exam from a recognized board of education.

WHO IS A LAND LOSER?

A land loser candidate is a person who has lost his land for Konkan Railway Corporation Limited project between Roha (Maharashtra) to Thokur (Karnataka) on KRCL route or his/her spouse, son, unmarried daughter, paternal grandson, paternal unmarried granddaughter only.

KRCL has a policy of giving recruitment to only one member per acquisition on the acquired land.
