Kareena hails Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ as ‘Divine’

Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra have returned with a bang after a gap of five long years.
Their upcoming film, Jabariya Jodi‘s trailer has been released. Makers of the film, Balaji Motion Pictures took to social media to share the news of the announcement.
On Twitter, they shared the trailer with a post that read, ” Beware bachelors! You can be their next shikaar. Aagayi hai Jabariya Jodi! #JabariyaJodiTrailer out now!”

Parineeti Chopra also shared the trailer on her official Twitter handle.
In the trailer, Sidharth Malhotra is seen in a rustic avatar, a Bihari Robin Hood who sets men who ask for dowries right. Although, he himself is a happy bachelor and wishes to remain so, Parineeti Chopra who plays his love interest kidnaps him to forcefully to get married to her.
The trailer is imbued with a lot of colour, especially felt with Parineeti Chopra’s entry.
Fashion trends are definitely going to change owing to the bold experimentation with colours and attires that the makers have done with the film’s lead.
The trailer also gives us two more covers of popular songs, “Lollipop” (Bhojpuri) and “Thekeyan Te Nit Khadke” ( Punjabi) rendered fresh and served with a rustic-modern look. Javed Jaffrey is a must watch, adding another comic element to the film with his comic avatar.
Jabariya Jodi is based on the tradition of groom kidnapping or ‘pakadwa shadi’ a highly prevalent phenomena in Bihar. In the film, Sidharth will play the character of Abhay Singh and Parineeti Chopra, of Babli Yadav.
The film also has Sanjay Mishra, Aparshakti Khurana,Chandan Roy Saniyal, Gopal Dutt and Neeraj Sood and has been directed by Prashant Singh.
Jabariya Jodi will release on August 2, 2019.
