Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal sustained an injury while filming an action sequence for ‘Chhava,’ prompting an early departure from the set to focus on recovery.

Reports indicate that the 35-year-old, who suffered hand injuries, will need to take a break from filming to recuperate, following sightings of him returning home with fractured arms.

Under the direction of Laxmi Utekar, “Animal” actor Rashmika Mandhana is part of the cast in ‘Chhava.’

This film delves into the historical drama surrounding the life of Chtrapati Sambhaji Maharaja, son of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaja. This marks the first collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandhana.

Vicky Kaushal will portray the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaja, while Mandana will take on the role of Yesubai Bhosale in the film.

Vicky Kaushal’s acclaimed portrayal of Field Marshal Manekshaw in the 2023 film ‘Sam Bahadur’ had earned praise from audiences.

After spotting plaster on Vicky Kaushal’s hand, many fans extended wishes for his speedy recovery, with messages like “Get well soon, Vicky Bhai” and “Vicky bhai, get well soon.”

Kaushal’s upcoming project is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War,’ where he stars opposite Alia Bhatt. The film is scheduled for release in 2025
