Beloved TV actor Rituraj Singh, known for his diverse roles and memorable performances, has passed away at the age of 59. The news was confirmed by his close friend and fellow actor, Amit Behl, revealing that Singh succumbed to a sudden cardiac arrest.

Born Rituraj Singh Chandrawat Sisodia in Kota, Rajasthan, Singh’s journey in the entertainment industry was one of passion and dedication. Despite his Rajasthani roots, his life took him far from home. He pursued his education in Delhi before embarking on a journey to the United States during his formative years. At the age of 12, he returned to India, eventually finding his calling in Mumbai, where he settled in 1993.

Singh’s contribution to Indian television was profound, with a career spanning decades. From his early appearances in shows like “Banegi Apni Baat” on Zee TV in 1993 to his more recent roles in “Jyoti,” “Hitler Didi,” “Shapath,” “Warrior High,” “Aahat,” and “Adaalat,” his versatility as an actor left a lasting impact on audiences.

One of his notable portrayals was as Balwant Chodhary in the Colors TV serial “Laado 2,” showcasing his ability to breathe life into diverse characters. Singh’s talent extended beyond the small screen, as he also graced the theatre scene in Delhi, honing his craft with Barry John’s Theatre Action Group (TAG) for over a decade.

Additionally, Singh’s presence in the popular Hindi TV game show “Tol Mol Ke Bol,” aired on Zee TV, further solidified his status as a household name. Not one to shy away from new ventures, he was set to make his digital debut in the web series “Abhay” on Zee5, adding another dimension to his illustrious career.
