The much-awaited trailer of Thugs of Hindostan has been released and it looks like India has probably got its version of Pirates of the Caribbean. The multi-starrer upcoming film has been creating a buzz for a long time now and the few glimpses revealed earlier worked well to tease the audience.
On 27 September, Aamir Khan took to Twitter and shared the trailer of the forthcoming film. “Here come the Thugs! Its a big day for all of us. Missing Yash ji. Wish he was here with us. I hope that TOH will make your Diwali a fun and enjoyable ride!,” the actor wrote.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the action adventure, Thugs of Hindostan, has an 18th century plot. The trailer introduces rebels from the East India Company era — Azaad, played by Amitabh Bachchan, and his offsider, Zafira. Bachchan in his never-seen-before look is undoubtedly impressive even in the short trailer. Aamir Khan, a thug named Firangi, graces the screen as the most quirky yet deceiving character. A few of his expressions would surely remind you of Jack Sparrow but the character brings in a lot more in the film than just being an oddball. Though the trailer doesn’t reveal much about Katrina’s character, Suraiyya, a few glimpses of the actress are enough to get you charged up for the film.
Fans are already going gaga over the trailer on social media. Check out their reaction here:
