Big B is shrouded in mystery in new ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ poster
A new poster from the upcoming sci-fi film 'Kalki 2898 AD' was unveiled on Saturday. The poster features veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a new avatar.
The much-awaited film of Yash Raj banner, Thugs of Hindostan has created much anticipation among the audience and with motion posters the curiosity has only reached a crescendo with the eager fans.
On Monday morning, the makers released the main character from the film, Aamir Khan. In the poster, we can see a ship in the background from which a piece of artillery is firing. As the camera zooms out it brings the scene out of a liquor bottle which is hung from Aamir’s waist. Aamir is wearing a green jacket and a hat with red shades.

That is Firangi, the character played by Aamir.
The caption in Hindi reads as “And this is me Firangi Mallah. You will not find anyone kinder than me on this planet. Truth is my second name and loyalty is in my work. I swear on my grandmother.”
Last week, the motion posters of three other leads from the film—Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Shaikh were revealed. The trailer of the film will release on September 27, i.e. Yash Chopra’s birthday.
Amitabh will be seen as Khudabaksh, Katrina as Surraiyaa and Fatima as Zafira.

Presenting the charm of the medieval era, the film is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel ‘Confessions of a Thug’. It is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.
Thugs of Hindostan also stars Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, and Ronit Roy. The film is slated to release on November 8.
