The moment is very saddening for the Kapoor clan and the film fraternity.
On a trip back memory lane, we looked at the Kapoors’ last grand Vogue photo shoot, an affair that brought all the family members together and which reflects the special bond between Ranbir and his dadi.
Recently, Krishna Raj Kapoor went to Paris to ring in her daughter-in-law Neetu Singh’s 50th birthday with the family and she was all smiles as they celebrated the mini vacation.
In a throwback behind-the-scenes video, Ranbir says, “We meet every Sunday. We go to my grandmother’s place where she has this amazing spread of food, you know? Every Peshawari dish. The entire family comes. We spend the entire day out there, chatting, speaking about each other’s works, speaking about each other’s experiences. My grandmother used to tell us stories about my grandfather. It’s awesome just to hear these stories. It is nostalgic and it is history.”
Here is the video.
It is quite evident that Ranbir Kapoor and his grandmother had a unique relation.
Ranbir’s dad Rishi Kapoor said, “It’s something we will treasure when we see it.”
The last rites will be performed at Chembur crematorium.
