Movie lovers were ready with their tickets, popcorn, and excitement. But just when everything seemed set for the big premiere of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, the makers shared an unexpected update that changed the mood in some regions. The film’s journey to the screen has hit a small bump, at least for Malayalam and Kannada viewers.

Director Aditya Dhar posted a detailed note on social media to inform fans about the situation. In his message, he explained that the film is very special to the team and has been created with deep emotion and effort.

According to him, they wanted everyone to experience the movie together, at the same time, in every language.

However, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, the Malayalam and Kannada shows will not begin as planned. Instead, these screenings have been postponed to Thursday morning.

Other language shows continue as scheduled

While the delay affects two language versions, the release schedule for others remains unchanged.

As per the announcement, most Hindi shows across India will start from 5 pm onwards as planned. Tamil and Telugu shows will begin from 9 pm onwards.

So fans watching the film in these languages can still enjoy the movie according to the original timetable.

Options for ticket holders

The makers also addressed viewers who already bought tickets for the delayed Malayalam and Kannada shows. They offered two clear choices.

If the dubbed version is not currently playing in their cinema, ticket holders can request a refund, or watch the Hindi version with subtitles instead.

The team expressed sincere apologies for the inconvenience and thanked fans for their patience and support. They shared that the audience’s love means everything to them and promised they are looking forward to presenting the film soon in all versions.
