Asha Parekh shares special moments from her Aussie escapade
Veteran actress Asha Parekh, who is known for ‘Teesri Manzil’, ‘Upkar’, ‘Kati Patang’, ‘Nadaan’ and others, is currently holidaying in Australia.
Bollywood Actress Swara Bhasker uses her social media to voice her opinion on several topics, however, the Ranjhana star on Thursday took to her Twitter handle and announced her wedding with political activist Fahad Ahmad. The actress posted a video with a montage of all their awe-worthy moments while elaborating their love story.
The Veere Di Wedding actress revealed that the couple had registered their wedding in court on January 6, 2023, under the Special Marriage Act.
Swara is now married to Fahad, who is the Maharashtra Unit President of the Samajwadi Party youth wing, as per his Twitter handle bio.

The video begins with a story of how Swara and Fahad initially met at a political protest in January 2020, followed by their first picture together. The video then shows numerous photos of the pair, as well as their pet cat named Ghalib. The pictures from their court wedding are shown at the end, and Swara and Fahad can be glimpsed hugging each other on January 6, 2023, when they filed their paperwork in court with her parents in attendance, where the couple legally wed and kick off a new and most beautiful chapter of their lives together.
Along with the mesmerizing video, she wrote, “Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours! (sic)”
