“Gournaidu will be regal and explosive on the big screens,” read the caption.

Directed by ‘Uppena’ fame Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ stars Ram Charan in the lead and is gearing up for a massive global release on March 27, 2026.

The film also features Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, and ‘Mirzapur’ star Divyenndu in prominent roles.

Back in April, on the occasion of Ram Navami, the team had dropped the first teaser titled ‘Peddi First Shot’, offering a glimpse into Ram Charan’s intense avatar.

In the teaser, Charan walks into a sunlit, dusty field amid a cheering crowd, lights a beedi, and declares: “I have only one life to live, and I want to make the most of it.” The rustic and raw tone hinted at a character deeply rooted in grit and rebellion.

Produced by Sukumar under his banner ‘Sukumar Writings’, the film also boasts music by the Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, adding more weight to an already star-studded lineup.

For Ram Charan, this film follows ‘Game Changer’, his last big release directed by Shankar, which also featured Kiara Advani.
