Akshay Kumar to make his Telugu debut with Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’
Doosukeltha' (2013) actor Manchu took to his official X page to share the news of Kumar joining 'Kannappa'.
The OG trio, Raju, Shyam and Babu Bhaiya played by Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty and Paresh Rawal, is ready to hustle once again. After years of shelving and hankering, the shooting of the much-awaited film Hera Pheri-3 has started on 21 February 2023 though female cast is yet to be decided.
Hera Pheri-3 could be the culmination of the Hera Pheri series which is much-loved by the audience. The first movie of the series was released in 2000 and the second in 2006. It still keeps everyone on the edge of his/her seat. The series is so intriguing that even after 23 years the craze is still alive.
The cult trio of Akshay, Suneil and Paresh Rawal is seen together ample number of times, and every time fans go crazy about their phenomenal comedy timing and chemistry.

Earlier, there were many contradictions related to the cast and the director of the film. But the actors have already gone on the floors for the shooting of promo so that the audience could be engaged.
Previously, Kartik Aryan was assigned the role of Raju, the role played by Akshay. But then Firoz Nadiadwala approached Akshay for the role which is close to his heart. He told him that if he was keen to play the role, he will have to make changes in his schedule. Akki conceded to his terms and agreed to reprise the role.
The film will be helmed by Housefull 4 director, Farhad Samji. But Fans are not happy with the director and are trolling the decision of approaching Farhan for Director’s Hat.
Farhan Samji recently broke away from Sajid Nadiadwala in Kisi ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan due to which Salman decided to produce the film solo even causing Sajid Nadiadwala to take a step back.
Firoz Nadiadwala then approached Farhan and a compromise formula was evolved and hence Bazmee was removed from the film. The makers surely did some Hera Pheri in the cast and crew of the movie. Reacting to this, fans are expected to trend the hashtag #nationrejectsfarhadinHP3’.
