In line with the United Nations environment theme, ‘Beat Air Pollution’, for this year, the Bhamla Foundtaion (a Mumbai-based NGO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment had launched an environmental initiative earlier this year.

The initiative was undertaken in the presence of actor and UN Ambassador for Environment Dia Mirza and lyricist Swanand Kirkire. The foundation, which had been working with artistes to release a song, ‘Hawa Aane De”, to mark the World Environment Day on June 5, has launched the official track.

The new initiative aims to encourage youngsters to get involved in fighting air pollution and introduce minor but effective changes in daily routine to beat air pollution.
