Mumbai Police investigates Ranveer Singh deepfake
Mumbai Police takes action after actor Ranveer Singh files complaint regarding deepfake video, signaling a crackdown on digital deception.
Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are busy promoting their upcoming film Gully Boy and were on The Kapil Sharma show as part of it. The actor had appeared on the show earlier too, for the promotions of Simmba.
In the previous episode, Padmaavat actor Ranveer teased Kapil by calling him Deepika’s brother. And today, a video has surfaced on the internet in which Kapil is introducing audience to the Gully Boy actors. Alia seems too excited, while Ranveer is lost in a video call with wife Deepika Padukone.
Kapil introduces him as the hero of Gully Boy, but Ranveer has her eyes fixed on Deepika on the screen. Finally, Kapil says: “Look how busy he is.” Ranveer then ends the call with flying kisses. He jumps and announces to the audience, “Sorry, it was your bhabhi.”

Many such videos have gone viral in which Ranveer and Alia are rapping Apna Time Aayega. Adding fun, Kapil introduces his own lyrics to the song, leaving Alia in splits. In another video, Kapil is seen holding banners with the text: “Funny Boy Kapil Sharma. Apna Show Aagaya”.
