National Award winning actor Rajkummar Rao has praised actor and girlfriend Patralekhaa. He said his Citylights co-star made him proud.

Patralekhaa, who will be next seen in upcoming project Badnaam Gali, a ZEE5 original, alongside Divyendu Sharma, received appreciation for her first look from all quarters.

Rao, who shared his own film’s poster, Mental Hai Kya, in which he stars alongside Kangana Ranaut, said, “It doesn’t happen quite often that both our posters come out on the same day. You wonder girl Patralekhaa. You make me proud.”

In Badnaam Gali’s first look, Patralekhaa can be seen with a baby bump with a shocked Divyendu standing alongside in the middle of a residential block-a wide gali. The film’s poster looks like the American teenage drama, Juno, starring Ellen Page.

Her film is slated to release on Mothers’ Day, 10 May 2019.

Meanwhile, Rao’s Mental Hai Kya has been postponed to a June release. The poster that he shared on Wednesday shows him and Kangana Ranaut sticking their tongues out with a blade balanced in between.The poster also carried a tagline, “Sanity is Overrated.”

Sharing the film’s poster, he wrote: “Madness has made its cut! Catch Mental Hai Kya in theatres on 21st June 2019…”
