Priyanka Chopra reveals ‘Tiger’ reconnected her with the beauty of India
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who narrated the documentary film 'Tiger', has shared why the story surrounding these majestic big cats holds a special place in her heart.
Actor Priyanka Chopra shared a very close bond with her father Ashok Chopra. The global icon never misses an opportunity to express love for her late father.
On the occasion of his birth anniversary on Saturday, the actor shared a heartfelt post on Instagram with a smiling photograph of her father while an old Hindi song plays in the background.
She wrote, “Every year on this day Sid and I would look for ways to surprise you… but we never managed to do so! You always knew everything… So I hope wherever you are, You know that you are with us everyday. In everything I do, I think about your encouragement… In every choice I make, I ask for your affirmation… In everything that happens to me, I am grateful for your blessings. Happy Birthday Dad. The song playing in the background is “Dil Aur Mohhabbat Kaha Se Layi” from Ashok Kumar, Joy Myukherjee and Sharmila Tagore’s Dil Aur Mohabbat (1968).
Priyanka’s friends and fellow actors from the film industry, including the likes of Anushka Sharma, Sonali Bendre among others showered love on her post.
Priyanka’s father died six years ago in 2013. The actor has often expressed that she misses the presence of her father and has found it difficult to cope with his loss.
Priyanka was last seen in Netflix’s production Isn’t It Romantic.
