The latest track of JP Dutta’s ‘Paltan’ portrays what a soldier feels when they go out for their duty.
Released today, 31 August, the song titled ‘Main Zinda Hoon’ evokes the inner patriot in every citizen as they watch Indian Army soldiers battling extreme conditions in a war-ravaged land.
Sung by Sonu Nigam, the video of the song ends with a poignant message – a soldier dies not when he is shot, but when he is forgotten.
The audio of the song was launched at an event in Mumbai. The cast and crew of the film along with their respective family members were present at the event.
Paltan will showcase the story of the Indian Army soldiers thwarting a Chinese infiltration. The movie is dased on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border.
The war drama features an ensemble cast comprising Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane and Siddhant Kapoor amongst others.
Paltan marks the return of renowned filmmaker JP Dutta to direction after 12 years. The national-award-winning director had earlier treated the audience with war films like Border and LOC Kargil.
Presented by Zee Studios and produced by JP Dutta Films, Paltan is slated to release on 7 September.
