‘Housefull 5’ sets sail on a star-studded cruise

Mission Mangal is not just the second highest opening film of 2019, after Salman Khan’s Bharat, but also Akshay Kumar’s highest grosser.
After receiving a massive opening at the box office, Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer Mission Mangal has finally reached the Rs. 100 cr benchmark in just five days since release.
After earning Rs. 97.56 crore till Sunday, the film earned Rs. 8.75 cr nett on Monday, taking its total tally to Rs. 105 cr nett, reported BoxOfficeIndia.com.
Mission Mangal is not just the second highest opening film of 2019, after Salman Khan’s Bharat, but also Akshay Kumar’s highest grosser.The film earned Rs.29.16 cr on the first day alone, on Friday it earned Rs.17.28 cr, on Saturday Rs 23.58 cr and on Sunday Rs. 27.54 cr.

The Jagan Shakti’s directorial has also done great business overseas with its opening two days collections of Rs. 10.13 crores, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported.
The film is expected to cruise past Kesari‘s figures in no time.
Mission Mangal also features Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen and Sharman Joshi among others.
It released alongside John Abraham’s Batla House on 15 August 2019.
