A popular TV artist from Bengaluru has stepped forward to report a disturbing case of online harassment reminding everyone how real and dangerous digital abuse can be. The 41-year-old actor, known for her roles in Kannada and Telugu serials, finally turned to the police after dealing with months of offensive messages and shocking videos from a stranger on social media.

It all started around three months ago, when the actor received a Facebook friend request from a profile named ‘Naveenz’. She ignored it, thinking it was harmless. But soon after, offensive messages started appearing in her Messenger inbox. Even without accepting the request, the unknown man managed to send vulgar texts every single day.

Hoping to stop the messages, she blocked him. But the harassment did not end. The man reportedly created new accounts again and again sending her obscene content including videos of himself.

On November 1, the situation reached a breaking point. The man contacted her once more. The actor fed up and determined decided to confront him directly. She asked him to meet her in person to put an end to the harassment. But instead of apologising, he allegedly refused to stop leaving her no choice but to seek help from the authorities.

The police took swift action. The accused, now identified as Naveen K Mon, has been arrested and is now in judicial custody. He is reportedly a delivery manager at an international technology recruitment company with offices in global cities including London, New York, Berlin, and Paris.
