The Indian team’s bronze came at the IIHF Asia Cup held in Al Ain, UAE, where they beat Thailand 3–1 in the third-place playoff.

Meanwhile, the monsoon has been making waves in Bollywood as well, reaching the doorstep of Juhu resident Amitabh Bachchan. Videos circulating online show heavy waterlogging outside his iconic home, Jalsa, with some clips claiming that the actor himself was trying to clear the water.

Although these claims are unverified, the images show knee-deep flooding affecting even the city’s most elite neighborhoods.

His earlier residence, Pratiksha, the venue for Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s wedding, has also seen its grounds inundated. A fan-shared video shows the lane submerged and staff working diligently to manage the situation.

In light of that, he advised readers to remain in a single path rather than facing distraction by multiple suggestions from others.

“Never take never granted for granted,” he wrote. He reflected on the teachings of his father, legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, reciting lines from ‘Madhushala’ and emphasizing that life often presents conflicting directions. Amitabh explained that while guidance from others can be helpful, one must focus on their chosen path. “Alag alag path batate sab, par main yeh batlaya hun; raah pakad tu ek chala chal pa jaaayega Madhushala… there is but one path to your final destination. Keep moving in the path, and ye shall get there,” he noted.
