Imagine logging into a dating app and suddenly spotting a celebrity face smiling back at you. Now picture that celebrity already being in a long-term, much-loved relationship. That’s exactly what happened with actor Karan Kundrra, who recently found himself “dating” on Bumble.
Karan Kundrra, known for his real-life romance with actor Tejasswi Prakash, revealed to The Hindustan Times that a Bumble account pretending to be him keeps popping up online. Screenshots of the ‘fake’ Bumble profile began circulating yet again, stirring chatter among fans.

But for Karan, this isn’t new at all. It’s déjà vu.
“This keeps happening every few months. It’s not even a real account; it’s just something haters pick up as a talking point,” Karan told the HT.
When asked if he considers it catfishing, Karan quickly dismissed the idea. Instead, he treats it like a running joke. “Ya ya! It’s happened so many times. Tejasswi and I laugh about it. We just make fun of it and move on,” he added.
The fake profiles have apparently been “dating” on his behalf for years now. “It’s been going on for 3-4 years, nothing new. Every 6–8 months, my fans send me screenshots again,” Karan explained.
What makes the latest version extra funny is the location of the profile. “This time the profile showed me in Kalyan. But guess what? I was actually in Jalandhar with my family. The best part is the locations they put me in,” Karan laughed.
The couple, often lovingly called “TejRan” by their fans, has been together since their stint on ‘Bigg Boss 15’.
