Given the growing recognition and success of K-pop music, it’s no surprise that the Billboard World Album Chart is currently under domination of K-pop groups and artists from leading labels.

HYBE’s multi-label group has significantly impacted the music scene, with BigHit Music’s BTS, ADOR’s NewJeans, PLEDIS Entertainment’s Seventeen, and newcomer girl group ILLIT among those making waves this week.

ILLIT’s debut album, “Super Real Me,” achieved remarkable success by reaching the 2nd spot on the chart, marking a significant milestone for the group. Originally released digitally in Korea in March, the K-Pop album’s physical copies entered the U.S. market in April, contributing to its Billboard 200 debut. Following ILLIT, TXT’s album “Minisode: 3 Tomorrow” claimed the 3rd spot after its release on April 1st, experiencing a slight decline from its previous position.

Meanwhile, Le Sserafim’s third album, “Antifragile,” continues to maintain its position at No. 5, marking its 11th week on the Billboard World Album chart.

The dominance of K-pop extends further, with upbeat tunes and captivating performances captivating the global music scene. NewJean’s album “Get-up” rebounded to the 6th position in its 41st week, following a brief dip to 9th place. Additionally, third-generation K-pop boy band Seventeen claimed the 7th spot with their compilation album “17 is Right Here.”

BTS, the global sensation from HYBE, secured the 10th spot with their 2022 anthology album “Proof” in its 99th week on the chart. Individual solo efforts from BTS members also made their mark, with J-Hope’s “Hope on the Street Vol 1” at No. 8 and Jimin’s solo endeavor, “Face,” holding steady at No. 14.

Beyond the HYBE family, JYP’s TWICE and Stray Kids continue to captivate fans, with TWICE’s “With You” maintaining the 11th spot and Stray Kids’ “ROCK-STAR” proving its staying power in its 25th week, securing the 12th spot.
