Nearly three years after the first season took the world by storm, Netflix finally dropped Part 1 of ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 on August 6. The first four episodes bring back all the chaos, the secrets, and the odd charm that fans loved, but with new twists. One big surprise? Pop superstar Lady Gaga has joined the cast.

Netflix introduced her character as Rosaline Rotwood, described as a “legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.” But Jenna Ortega hints that this might not be true at all.

Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Ortega teased, “She’s not a teacher. That’s your little clue. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s wrong.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia Addams, was equally excited about Gaga’s arrival. “She was an addition that came from heaven, or in our case, hell, which is a good thing,” she said with a smile. “I actually feel that she is probably related somehow genetically to the Addams Family.”
Luis Guzmán, who plays Gomez Addams, joined in on the fun. “As Gomez, Addams’ lawyer, I’m preparing the papers to officially adopt her,” he joked.
Interestingly, Gaga’s character is nowhere to in the first half of the season. This makes it likely that her big entrance is for Part 2, which Netflix will release on September 3, 2025. Fans will have to wait until then to find out exactly who Rosaline Rotwood is, and why her role has been kept such a mystery.
