Hina Khan said that after her cancer diagnosis, many projects had to be put on hold. She had to turn down several offers because her health was her priority. Now, she is excited to return to television with the reality show ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ on Colors Channel.
“This is my first project after everything happened,” Hina told PTI. She added that while no one has directly told her she’s not fully recovered, she senses hesitation from some in the industry. “I understand it. Maybe people are thinking carefully for the right reasons. I will break that norm,” she said confidently.
Known for hit shows like ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, and ‘Bigg Boss 11’, Hina has always been a favorite among fans. She is glad to be back on screen and participating in the reality show alongside other well-loved celebrity couples such as Debinna Bonnerjee-Gurmeet Choudhary and Rubina Dilaik-Abhinav Shukla.
The show features couples taking part in fun challenges while sharing personal moments, and Hina says it was a big step for her to join after her health scare.
Talking about her health, Hina said, “I get tired sometimes, but so far so good. I am ready to take on anything; digital shows, short projects. But I won’t take any long-term commitments right now.” She is open to auditions and is eager for new opportunities. “If someone thinks I’m worthy, I’m here and ready,” she said.
Interestingly, Hina also shared a dream role she wants to play; that of a spy agent. Inspired by shows like ‘Special Ops’, she said, “I really want to be part of the spy universe, whether in films or OTT. I was manifesting this role.”
