Ahead of their film’s release, the team of ‘Sui-Dhaaga-Made In India’ celebrated the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi by making an eco-friendly Lord Ganesha idol using threads.

Ushering into the festival spirits, actors Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan took to their respective Twitter handles and shared a video of the making of the idol.

“Celebrating this auspicious occasion with a beautiful eco-friendly Bappa made with Dhaaga. Ganesh Chaturthi,” Anushka tweeted.

Varun Dhawan also wrote on Twitter, “Watch how Anushka Sharma surprises me. The ‘Sui Dhaaga’ team made a bio-degradable Ganpati Bappa Morya. Let’s celebrate an eco-friendly Ganapati this year. Team ‘Sui Dhaaga’ made a bio-degradable Ganapati,”

 

“Sui Dhaaga-Made in India” is a heart-warming film based on an unemployed small-town man who defies all odds and naysayers and starts his own garment business.

Directed by Sharat Katariya, the film is slated to release on September 2018.
