Neelam, Jackie Shroff team up after three decades for romantic song ‘Tu’
Bollywood's veteran stars Jackie Shroff and Neelam Kothari, a popular romantic pair of the 80s, have reunited for a song after three decades.
Dream Girl first part was released in 2019. The film had become an instant hit taking the audience on a joy ride with comedy. The Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha-starrer was immensely successful at the box office and was one of the highest-grossing blockbusters of that year.
Last Year, Ayushmann confirmed the film’s sequel, titled Dream Girl 2. Ever since, fans have been waiting for further updates on the project.
The film has Ananya Panday as the female lead. It will be released in the theatres on July 7. In the new teaser of Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann is seen back in his Pooja avatar as he flirts with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan on the call.

Taking to his Instagram handle on February 13, Ayushmann Khurrana shared the teaser of his upcoming film Dream Girl 2 with a caption: “BREAKING NEWS: @pooja___dreamgirl is back! #7KoSaathMein dekhenge! #DreamGirl2 releasing in cinemas on 7th July, 2023 (sic).”
In the teaser, the actor can be seen wearing a backless pink lehenga with beautiful jewellery. We don’t get to see his face, but we see him flirting with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan character on the phone. Ayushmann will be playing the role of Karam as well as a girl named Pooja in Dream Girl 2.
