Deepika Padukone has shot for a magazine cover with a no-makeup look. The Padmaavat actor shared her look from the Vogue India photoshoot of the August issue.
The magazine’s official Instagram handle revealed Deepika as the cover girl while Deepika Padukone also shared a picture of the magazine cover with a caption that read, “Barefaced & Unfiltered”.
Currently, Deepika is working on Kabir Khan’s much awaited sports drama film ’83 in which she will play her husband and actor Ranveer Singh’s onscreen wife. In ’83, Ranveer Singh will essay the role of former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev and Deepika will play his wife, Romi Bhatia. This film will mark the couple’s fourth collaboration. They worked together on three of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films; Ram Leela Goliyon Ki Raasleela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.

Earlier, Deepika wrapped up the shoot of Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak before proceeding on to ’83. In the former film, Deepika will play the lead role of an acid attack survivor. Chhapaak also starrs Vikrant Massey and is inspired from true-life events of Laxmi Aggarwal’s life and will release in January 2020.
