Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to have her own radio talk show on Ishq 104.8 FM. Following the footsteps of her close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar, the actress will soon begin with her show titled What Women Want with Kareena Kapoor.
On Tuesday, at the launch event of her show, the Veere Di Wedding actress also made her debut in slam poetry. Since her radio show is based on women, she chooses to talk about the ‘labels’ women are given these days.
The radio show is scheduled to go on air from December on Ishq FM.
On the film front, Kareena Kapoor will star in Karan Johar’s historical drama, Takht, also featuring Bollywood A-listers Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.
Takht will be produced under Karan Johar’s home production banner Dharma Production, co-produced by Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta. It is slated to release in 2020.
It started with a missing name. Then another. By morning, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone were all gone from one list that nobody knew they cared about.
KJo turned his Met Gala debut into a dramatic fashion moment with a six-foot hand-painted cape. The Manish Malhotra creation, inspired by Raja Ravi Varma, blended cinema and art.
Bollywood’s big-screen formula is getting louder, tougher, and far more repetitive, according to Karan Johar. The filmmaker questions whether audiences truly want hyper-masculine heroes or if the industry is just guessing wrong.
