Mumbai Police takes action after actor Ranveer Singh files complaint regarding deepfake video, signaling a crackdown on digital deception.
The year 2018 has been a blockbuster year for Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. He started with Padmaavat in January, and is now all set to end the year with Simmba.
Not just on the professional front, 2018 has been a big year for him on the personal front too as the actor married his lady love Deepika Padukone after six years of relationship.
Simmba marks collaboration of Rohit Shetty and Ranveer on the silver screen for the first time. Sara Ali Khan, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath, plays the lead opposite Ranveer in Simmba.

On Saturday, the makers released a new Simmba poster and date when the Simmba trailer will be released. Director Rohit Shetty, producer Karan Johar, actors Ranveer Singh and Sonu Sood took to their social media accounts and shared the poster. It reads: “2 days for… Simmba trailer release”.
The poster shows the back of a man in khaki, and it seems the man is Ranveer Singh.

In the film Simmba, Ranveer plays the role of a rowdy cop, Sangram Bhalerao, and Sara Ali Khan will play his lady love.
A few days ago, Ranveer Singh wrote a heartfelt note for director Rohit Shetty after completion of the shoot. The Chennai Express director too shared an emotional note, writing about his journey and his experience of working with Ranveer. He also congratulated Deepika and Ranveer for starting their new life.
