Sidharth Malhotra, who made his debut in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year in 2012, has impressed everyone with his versatile acting skills in the films he has done till now.
His acting as a hardened criminal in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain, which was a romantic action thriller film, got a good response. The film had been produced by Ekta Kapoor.
Three years later, Sidharth has signed another film with Ekta Kapoor now, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror.

The film’s title has not been decided yet, but it’s a love story to be directed by a debutant. If the report turns out to be true, this will be Sidharth’s second outing with Ekta after their 2014 hit Ek Villain. The film is expected to hit the floor in a couple of months.
“It’s a small town love story with edgy characters. As soon as Ekta heard it, she immediately reached out to Sidharth. She believes it’s a great role and a perfect film for them to come together. The film is expected to roll in a couple of months. The makers will begin the recce soon and zero in on a leading lady,” the report quoted a source as saying.
Sidharth was last seen in Neeraj Pandey’s crime thriller Aiyaary, which did not do well at the box office.
