Amitabh Bachchan to receive Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award
Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan to be honored with the prestigious Lata Mangeshkar Award for his outstanding contributions, joining a distinguished list of recipients.
Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda is all set to make her acting debut with none other than father Amitabh Bachchan. She is set to debut for a television commercial.
Shweta has shot for a leading jewellery brand in Film City, Mumbai. The TVC is also being shot in Malayalam. The advertisement is expected to go on air in July.

Talking about the new venture, Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director of Kalyan Jewellers, said in a statement: “We believe that audience will love to see the film wherein Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta play father and daughter — for the first time.”

Amitabh Bachchan has been the brand ambassador of Kalyan Jewellers since 2012. This is not the first time the brand is featuring members of Bachchan family, as Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also featured in a TVC to represent the brand earlier.

Shweta Bachchan Nanda is a columnist and is turning author with her book, Paradise Towers. Amitabh Bachchan also shared a picture with his daughter from the sets and captioned it as, “Daughters are the best”.

Shweta is married to businessman Nikhil Nanda and they are parents to Navya Naveli and Agastya.
