Richa shared her excitement about this new dynamic in a quote to IANS. She said the two have appeared in the same films together in the past, but have never explored a relationship like this on screen before.

She described the project as a fresh experience for both of them, one where they get to discover a completely new equation together as actors.

Richa spoke about what made the screenplay stand out to her. She said it carries a certain ease that pulled her in right away, finding humour in everyday situations without trying too hard.
According to her, there is also something meaningful being said about people and society beneath all the laughs.
The film’s Delhi setting struck an emotional chord with Richa as well. She mentioned that returning to a story set in the city brought back personal memories for her, since she spent her early school years there.
She also spoke highly of Ali as a performer, describing him as instinctive and saying she is genuinely looking forward to exploring this new dynamic with him on screen.
Ali shared his own excitement about the film as well. He said comedy works best when it comes from people who feel real rather than exaggerated.
He appreciated that every character in this story carries flaws, quirks, and genuine emotional depth, which he believes helps the humour land more effectively.
Ali echoed Richa’s sentiment about this being a new experience for them both. Despite knowing each other professionally for years, he said working opposite her in a story where they are actually paired together is something they have never done before, which makes the experience genuinely exciting for him.
