The big news came with a surprise confirmation by both the actors via their social media accounts. Here’s what they said: “With the blessings of our families, gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship, and togetherness. Lots of love, Deepika and Ranveer”

Their love story started on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela. They were soon termed as the hottest on-screen couple. Even Ranveer shared a post celebrating the film’s fourth anniversary, and wrote, “Don’t we look great together?”

Their sizzling chemistry on screen couldn’t escape the sight of the audience as they performed together at Zee Cine Awards 2014. The songs they danced on were of their first film Ram Leela.
Then, at IIFA Awards 2015, the two showcased their chemistry on the stage with Ranveer going down on one knee to receive Deepika on stage. He even recited a romantic poem for her.
The same year, the two featured on the cover of Vogue together. Since then, the audience hasn’t stopped gushing over their chemistry.
Deepika and Ranveer were spotted together ringing in the New Year in the Maldives in 2015. After the release of their film, Ranveer had to chop off his mustache for Befikre. In the video, Deepika was seen cutting off Ranveer’s mustache and just look at Ranveer’s reaction.

At IFFA 2016, Deepika dropped a major hint when she ended her performance by blowing a flying kiss to Ranveer as she danced to the songs of Ranveer. And in the same year, the two were spotted leaving the Ambani bash hand-in-hand.
Their social media PDA has been making headlines each day. Deepika commented on Ranveer Singh’s childhood picture recently while Ranveer commented on a picture of clouds.
Lastly, at HT Leadership Summit, they danced to Ranveer’s Khalibali dance from Padmaavat together.
