Mrunal Thakur apologises for old video comment on Bipasha Basu

Actor Mrunal Thakur is all ready to dazzle fans in her upcoming Punjabi entertainer ‘Son of Sardaar 2’, and now in a sweet and personal post on social media, she revealed that she learned to play the dhol for the role, calling the experience “tiring, thrilling, and so, so special.”
In a behind-the-scenes video she posted online, Mrunal can be seen practicing the large drum with complete dedication.

“There’s a certain kind of joy in truly enjoying the process,” she wrote in her caption. “It keeps me grounded, keeps me going and honestly, I don’t know who I’d be without it.” The actress also added, “This is my one small attempt towards bringing a smile on everyone’s faces. I can’t wait for you all to see more of Rabia and the entire crazy family.”
In ‘Son of Sardaar 2’, Mrunal will play Rabia, a fun and lively character who brings energy and joy to the story. The film marks her first major commercial entertainer. She will share screen space with Ajay Devgn, who returns in the lead role.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ is going to hit theatres on August 1. The film is a sequel to the 2012 hit ‘Son of Sardaar’, which had a strong mix of action, comedy, and family drama.
Apart from this film, Mrunal has a busy year ahead. She is also working on ‘Dacoit: A Love Story’ and ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’.
