A nostalgia-heavy post fans loved

Along with the message, Kajol posted two pictures. One was her as Anjali, the girl-next-door who danced, laughed, and loved with her whole heart. The second photo was a throwback group picture featuring the full star-studded cast.

Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor were all seen wrapped in a warm hug. One picture, so many memories.

For fans, it felt like opening an old family album.

Director Karan Johar also marked the milestone with his own tribute. He shared a video filled with memorable scenes from the film and reminded everyone why K3G still works after all these years.

He wrote that the film continues to show the power of family, love, lots of happiness, and a little sadness too.

Dialogues, songs, and cult status

Produced by Yash Johar under the Dharma Productions banner, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ tells the story of a rich Indian family torn apart by pride.

Rahul, the adopted son, is thrown out by his father for marrying Anjali, a woman from a simpler background. Years later, the younger son Rohan steps in, determined to bring everyone back together.

From iconic dialogues to unforgettable songs, K3G has become part of pop culture. It’s the kind of film people rewatch during festivals, family gatherings, or when they just need comfort.

The movie stayed.

Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan: A timeless pair

Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen magic has given Bollywood many classics. Another fan-favourite, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,’ recently completed 30 years.

To mark that milestone, the duo even unveiled a bronze statue of Raj and Simran at London’s Leicester Square. Some love stories truly live forever.

And clearly, so do Anjali and Rahul.
