For Agastya Nanda, this night was huge. The grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan is stepping into serious cinema with ‘Ikkis’.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film is a war biopic based on Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, the youngest hero to receive the Param Vir Chakra.

He went back in time remembering the day Agastya was born: rushing to the hospital, holding him as a newborn, joking about the colour of his eyes, and watching him grow up.

From a baby playing with his beard to a grown man standing tall on the big screen, Big B relived it all in one emotional flow.

Big B made it clear that his praise was not biased. He described Agastya’s performance as honest and raw saying that whenever Agastya appeared on screen, he couldn’t look away.

He also praised the film’s writing, direction, and overall presentation. The ending, he said, left him silent with eyes full of tears, pride, and joy.
