Ikkis Day 1 Box Office Collection: The New Year began on a steady note for ‘Ikkis’, the latest Hindi film directed by Sriram Raghavan. The filmmaker, who has carved a niche for himself with films like ‘Merry Christmas’, ‘Andhadhun’, ‘Badlapur’, ‘Agent Vinod’, ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ returned with a film that quietly made its presence felt at the box office on Day 1.
‘Ikkis’ did not explode with massive numbers. But it showed promise through consistent collections. There was growing interest amongst audiences as the first day progressed.

On its opening day, ‘Ikkis’ earned around ₹7.28 crore India net. The India gross collection stood at approximately ₹8.25 crore.
These figures indicate a decent start. This is especially considering the film’s genre and the fact that it relies more on storytelling and performances.
Trade experts note that these numbers put ‘Ikkis’ in a comfortable position for the coming weekend.
One of the most interesting aspects of ‘Ikkis’ Day 1 performance is of course its theatre occupancy. The film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 31.94% on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
The day began slowly but picked up pace as hours passed. Industry analyst Sacnilk reveals the following data:
Morning Shows: 12.09%
Afternoon Shows: 35.29%
Evening Shows: 46.77%
Night Shows: 33.62%
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, ‘Ikkis’ carries expectations due to his reputation for layered narratives and gripping cinema. Also, this is the last film of Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’ Dharmendra. The collaboration with Maddock Films as the production house also adds credibility.
‘Ikkis’ features an impressive ensemble cast. It stars late actor Dharmendra. The film also has Agastya Nanda, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikandar Kher, Simar Bhatia in key roles.
