Here’s why Shah Rukh Khan’s Salute gets delayed by a month

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will soon be gracing the silver screen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.  He is currently in the US for a 45-day shooting schedule.

After Zero, Shah Rukh Khan will start working on Indian cosmonaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic titled Salute. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan was going to start the shoot in September but the shooting of the film has been delayed.

As per The DNA, he will start the shoot for Salute in October. A source also informed, “Shah Rukh Khan’s dates for Salute are yet to be locked. After the dates are finalised and the cast is signed, the film’s makers will make an official announcement. Though the movie was initially planned to go on floors this September, it is now being deferred by a month and will begin only in October.”

A few days back reports also suggested that Kareena Kapoor Khan being roped in for the movie, but there is no official confirmation. Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were last seen together in Ra.One (2011).

The first teaser of Zero was released back in January this year. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a dwarf avatar; Anushka Sharma will play the role of a scientist and Katrina Kaif as an actor. The film is slated to hit the theatres on 21 December 2018.
