Kajol and Ajay Devgn have been one of Bollywood’s most loved couples. They first met on the sets of the film ‘Gundaraj’ in 1994 and began dating soon after.

The couple tied the knot in 1999 in a quiet Maharashtrian ceremony, away from the usual Bollywood glamour. They welcomed their daughter Nysa in 2003, followed by their son Yug in 2010.

Over the years, Kajol has made a name for herself not just as a popular actress but also as a strong and graceful woman. She continues to work in films and take on different types of roles.

Her most recent film, ‘Sarzameen’, directed by Kayoze Irani, released recently. It features Kajol in a powerful role alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The story follows an Indian Army officer, Colonel Vijay Menon, who finds himself in a difficult situation when he learns that his missing son may be involved with a terrorist group in Jammu and Kashmir.

Kajol also appeared in ‘Maa’, a mythological horror film connected to the 2024 movie ‘Shaitaan’. The story follows a mother and daughter who travel to the husband’s hometown after his mysterious death.

Looking ahead, Kajol will appear in an action thriller titled ‘Maharagni: Queen of Queens’. This movie is directorial of Charan Tej Uppalapati in his debut as a filmmaker. Kajol plays the lead role, and the cast includes well-known names like Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, and Samyuktha. The film tells the story of a mother and daughter facing unexpected challenges.

‘Maharagni’ also marks a special reunion between Kajol and Prabhu Deva, who last worked together in the 1997 film ‘Minsara Kanavu’. The film also brings Prabhu Deva back to acting after spending several years working as a director.
